What started out as a vague idea in a dark bedroom in Coventry, 2012, has slowly progressed into what you see today.
We’ve discovered the strength collaboration brings to us. As Noiiises we’ve been moving towards our current state for the past three years. Members have come and gone and different elements have been added, old ideas have been discarded and we’ve discovered a fresh vision of where we want to take ourselves and our story. Now strongly moving forward to our next step with new releases and still the same powerful passion in our hearts.
We hope you hear something in our music that you can grab a hold of, and believe in as much as we do.
Jonny - Guitar
Jonny Catt was born and raised in Liverpool, he has the incredible ability to polish off the finishing touches to a song and has often been the icing on the cake to a lot of the Noiiises tracks. Whilst offering a taste of the familiar and recognisable, Jonny will then attract attention with his creativity and expression on the guitar, creating new lead patterns and dancing melodies on top of his many subtleties and layers. Jonnys influence and input in Noiiises adds a huge ambience and depth to the final product; guitar playing that tells a story and will take anyone listening on a journey directly to the heart of the songs message.
Ludo - Vocals
Ludo Merkelbach, Born in Switzerland and settled in the UK, is the vocalist and primary song writer for Noiiises. He boasts an extremely lively stage presence that goes a lot further than his microphone. Ludo loves to encorperate live samples and loops into his set up which fuels his unique energy and passion on stage. Off the stage you’ll find him working hard in the background, his experimenting with new tech and software has pushed Noiiises to have crafted a particularly unique sound, naturally inspired by Ludos love of electronics and passion for non-conformity.
Joe - Drums
Joe Morris, born on the south coast of England and now living in the Midlands, is the drummer for Noiiises. Joe has always been inspired by blending vintage drum tones with edgy and futuristic electronics, he has a love for both groove and a passion for robotic repeating rhythms which combine to create a refreshing and energetic rhythm section. Joe also writes a lot of the music for Noiiises and you will hear an almost cinematic, often anthemic and at times, when he’s given the reigns, a slightly rockier edge to his tracks. Joe makes the drums speak and his parts serve both to support and to drive when required.
Jack - Bass
Jack takes care of all the ‘Low end’ in Noiiises, his bass playing and his stage presence are full of energy and authenticity. His grooves serve to elevate the music to a fresh level, adding elements of funk and dance. Jacks parts are musical and intelligent, taking bass playing outside of its usual four walls.

About Our E.P.
NOIIISES new EP will be out on the 1st of June 2017.
Introducing Noiiises, a passionate four piece band from the West Midlands, bringing an ambient and funky vibe to the much loved ‘indie’ scene. The funky vocal hooks, driving bass lines and dramatic, swelling guitar builds are all designed to draw your ear in to the lyrical content.
Noiiises base their songs around a message of hope and breakthrough, and there’s evidence in their lyrics and the way they conduct their live shows to suggest that they really believe in the power of music.
This song is about keeping your eyes fixed on your goal. The goal might be different for all of us, but we only reach it if we keep our eyes fixed onto it and determine that nothing will stand in our way. Always stand up for what you know is true and ultimately…
Never. Give. Up. Hope. So, how much do you want it?
Verse: It’s your big fight Don’t let go of hope Let your father be your guide You will break through the wall. Then you will see a light It will give you some hope And the only thing ahead Will be a path to your goal
Chorus: You will be strong, strong Fight to keep your soul Keep fighting Heading to your goal
This song was written about the things that hold us back. Our only boundaries are the ones we set on ourselves, we are at war against our own minds and we need people around us to constantly remind us who we are. Always set your eyes far beyond what you can see and never let fear shape your decisions.
Verse 1: Twisted mind and perception Never end in good expression I have buckled my own freedom I have caused a civil war I know his names ‘the fear’ In your light he must disappear But I have to admit, I’ve held it back For fear of all exposure
Chorus: I find it hard, to let it go, give it up. Give up control. You stand tall through it all, My only hope.
Verse 2: I spoke words left unspoken My minds spread wide open Acknowledged all my flaws Leave it bare before you
Bridge: I hide my face From your bigger sight It’s just what I see In my hiding place
This song was inspired by a band that we watched who had come to the end of their rope, they had given up on chasing their dream of making music and were content to just go through the motions. This hit us as such a tragic reality, that we were moved to write a song to sing over anyone who is thinking of throwing in the towel and giving up on their hopes and dreams. It’s sometimes when we’re at the end of ourselves and in the darkest and most hopeless place, that light breaks in and reminds us of the hope we have. So please, don’t be discouraged and never bow down to fear because we know that: suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Verse 1: When you never give up But your dream fades out, Big regret That you don’t understand. Tell me love Why was I not strong? Bring me back A way to follow
Pre chorus: When you saved me from the underground Never give up, Never bow down.
Chorus: Light came back when hope was gone, Will guide your life and shape your heart.
